This application serves as an excellent clinical tool for speech therapists and can also be utilized by parents to assist children in practicing the "s" sound. Additionally, English language learners will benefit from this app for improving pronunciation.

Featuring 145 images accompanied by optional spoken words and text, the app offers “s” practice through auditory bombardment or flashcard drilling. Users are engaged with a captivating matching game, making articulation practice an enjoyable experience.

Articulate S was developed by an ASHA-certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. It caters to individuals who omit the "s" sound, substitute it with another sound, or produce it in a distorted manner, such as with a lisp. The app is designed to address phonological processes including fricative stopping, stridency deletion, cluster simplification, and final consonant deletion within a variety of phonetic contexts:
